La Finca Tinajo is Just perfect! We stayed for 10 days with our 2 teenage daughters. The house is amazing: big but cosy, clean, lot’s of comfort and has a large outside area. Sean, Mimi and Kate gave us a very warm welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. The location is fantastic, in the more relax side of the island, near Famara beach (perfect for surfing). You can easily explore the whole island from the lovely village of Tinajo. When you enter the driveway you immediately feel at home. We will book again for sure!

This was our first visit to La Finca and second visit to Lanzarote. The villa was great, very homely and welcoming! The outdoor space was very impressive and we all loved the large pool. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, and there was everything you could need in terms of the kitchen and living spaces. We had a hire car but the walk into Tinajo was only 10 minutes, which we did on several evenings to eat. The Christmas lights in the town were stunning making for a relaxing pre-Christmas break. Would recommend for a tranquil holiday stay.

First visit to this area of Lanzarote and the villa. It doesn’t disappoint. It’s such a comfortable & relaxing haven with fantastic facilities such as the swimming pool huge brick-built BBQ. The private outside area is lovely & big with ample opportunity to have meals in different parts throughout the day if you so choose! We know we will return to ‘La Finca’ it’s just a matter of when. We really enjoyed our stay La Finca. It was very homely and well equipped. Lots of different utensils & kitchen equipment if you chose to cook. The beds are very comfy which is a must for us! The outside area is fantastic. It’s totally private & peaceful with a fabulous Mountain view. The heated pool was lovely. The area feels very safe & the walk to town is pleasant and easy. It’s so quiet at night you could hear a pin drop. :0) Will be back for sure.

We love our beach resort family holidays, but this year wanted to add an “active” 10 nights stay to wear the kids out during the day. Worked a treat. Lots of walking, cycling and sightseeing. Tinajo has some simple but excellent restaurants and it’s inexpensive to get quality food. There is a much wider restaurant choice in the nearby town of La Santa. Spent one “beach day” at Famara watching the surfers. It’s very windy but the beach is massive, and the cliffs are spectacular. The property itself is superb. Very authentic Spanish farmhouse theme throughout, huge pool area and so cosy in the evenings. A solid 10 for location and accommodation.

The Finca was only 25 minutes away from the Airport and easy to find. A nice touch is that we were met by the lovely owners and shown around the property on arrival. The Finca looks as good as the images, and it has a cosy authentic feel about it. Tinajo and the surrounding villages has a relaxed atmosphere and local culture was good to experience as a change from our usual destination of Playa Blanca. You are never that far away from anywhere on Lanzarote but a short car journey takes you to La Santa and a little further to the stunning Famara beach. A car would be recommended to take advantage of Tinajo as a great base to explore the island.

We chose La Finca Tinajo as an alternative to La Santa as a base for walking and especially cycling. We had arranged the bike hire in advance through the Finca owners Sean & Mimi and they were there waiting for us when we arrived. Another nice touch was the extensive welcome pack waiting for us which meant we didn’t need to rush out for supplies. The cycling routes and walking opportunities across the Tinajo municipality are fantastic. It's a comfort to have the owners on hand and we took advantage of their knowledge and recommendations of the local area and places to eat. We were the first guests to stay at this fabulous property and we enjoyed our week long relaxed & chilled out holiday immensely. Pool area is very large, and we were fortunate to get a spell of mild sunny weather to enjoy more time outside than we expected. Tinajo is very quiet and feels truly Spanish with several shops and some good small restaurants nearby to enjoy good food and low prices. Would recommend for relaxing and battery recharging.
